This Spring, dive 2 hours north-west and enjoy 100 miles of smiles!

The South Burnett is located roughly 2 hours drive north-west of Brisbane and about 90 minutes drive from the Sunshine Coast. And on the second weekend of September each year we hold our annual Spring Festival. So if you're looking for something really different to do for a weekend, why not come up and be part of it?

We've got something for everyone happening right throughout our region on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2009. Garden Shows, Arts Festivals, the big Nanango Country Music Muster, the whacky Kingaroy Peanut Festival, the Kingaroy Festival Fly-In.... and a lot more besides!

You can also pass the time at our region's wonderful wineries or wet a line fishing at either Boondooma Dam or Bjelke-Petersen Dam. Maybe take in the beauty of the incredible (and very ancient) Bunya Mountains National Park. Or perhaps browse through our art galleries and museums.

So set aside 2 days on September 12th and 13th this year, hop in your car and come up and join us as we say goodbye to Winter and a big hello to Spring! We've got 100 miles of wall-to-wall smiles waiting for you to explore. Lots of fun things to see and do. And lots of new friends just waiting to meet you.
